Representative James moved and asked unanimous consent that the House rescind previous action in adopting HCS CSSB 103(FIN) (page 964). There being no objection, it was so ordered. CSSB 103(FIN) which had been read a second time (page 963) was again before the House. Representative James moved and asked unanimous consent that the following committee substitute be adopted in lieu of the original bill: HOUSE CS FOR CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 103(2d RLS) (same title) There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Halcro: Page 9, line 24, following "others;": Insert "or" Page 9, line 25, through page 10, line 1: Delete "; or 2001-04-28 House Journal Page 1324 (G) reasonable use of governmental resources by a legislator or legislative employee to support or oppose a proposed amendment to the state or federal constitution; a legislator or legislative employee may support or oppose a proposed constitutional amendment; however, a legislator or legislative employee may not use governmental resources to solicit or receive contributions for a proposed constitutional amendment" Representative Halcro moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Bunde objected.
